Line 2 made that noise before. Nobody remembers what fixed it.
Keeping what your best technician knows, so a stoppage does not start from scratch.
Line 2 cycle time is creeping up and there is a vibration at the feed. Show me past cases like this and what fixed them.

Line 2, feed vibration
- Jan: same symptom, worn bearing on feed roller
- Fix took 40 min once the part was found
- Keep one spare bearing at the line
The line slows, then stops. Someone says it did this last winter. There is a maintenance log, handwritten, and shift notes in a binder, and one technician who would know. He is on holiday.
- Downtime while the same fault is diagnosed again
- Know how sits with one or two people
- Rejects that nobody ties back to a cause
Try it yourself in Luminair
Six steps. No setup beyond the AI plan you already have.
- 1
Install Luminair and sign in
Download Luminair and open it. Go to Settings → Models → Add account and sign in with an AI plan you already pay for, like Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini.
- 2
Make a folder for this job
In the sidebar, choose New folder… and name it “Plant”. Then choose New session in this folder. Everything for this job stays together.
- 3
Bring the information in
You need: maintenance log, shift notes and machine manual. Connect monday.com, Airtable and Gmail in Settings → Connectors, or export the files and drag them into the chat.
- 4
Ask for the result
Paste this into the session, or say it in your own words:
Line 2 cycle time is creeping up and there is a vibration at the feed. Show me past cases like this and what fixed them.
- 5
Get a second opinion
Pick a different model in the model picker and ask it to check the first answer:
Do these past cases really match the symptom, or only partly?
- 6
Make it repeat
Open Flows → New and add the steps: Read this week's shift and maintenance notes → Group faults by line and symptom → Write a short handover for Monday. Choose when it runs, like every Monday at 09:00. Nothing is sent or changed until you approve it.
How it plays out
Put the logs in one place
Make a Plant folder with a section for each line. Add maintenance logs, shift notes and quality records as files or photos. Dictate new notes by voice straight from the floor.
Ask what happened last time
Describe the symptom and ask for past cases like it: what was seen, what was tried, what fixed it. You get the entries it found, not a guess presented as fact.
Look for patterns
Drop in an export of readings or reject counts and ask what changed before problems started. Use the answer as a lead to investigate, then record what you found.
You stay in charge
Luminair does not read your machines live or predict failures on its own. It makes your own records easy to search and reason about, and your engineers decide what to do.
A new technician can ask the plant's history a question and get the answer your most experienced person would have given.
